An end-to-end defect tracking workflow that reduced resolution time from 6 weeks to 2 days.

 is a construction-tech platform that enables project teams to document site progress using 360° scans instead of manual walkthroughs. Site engineers capture daily footage with helmet-mounted cameras and the platform converts these into navigable PANO views that project managers can review remotely.

Construction teams tracked defects through 

 - creating poor visibility, no ownership, no documentation trail and delays stretching into weeks or months.

After mapping the current workflows and pain points, I designed a unified system that connected capture, detection, management and closure.

This new user flow replaced scattered updates with one single loop that starts on-site and ends with documented closure.

A Visual Defect Resolution System

Site engineers wear helmet-mounted 360° cameras while walking each floor of a building. These daily scans are uploaded in the web app and stitched into an interactive digital twin of the site.&nbsp;

But as the product scaled, one question kept coming up:

“How do I know if the scan taken by the site engineer is good enough?” &nbsp;“Are we actually getting better at resolving defects?”

That’s when I decided to build Scan and Defect Analytics;

Site teams were capturing daily scans, but no one knew how well the floors were actually covered.  Incomplete scans led to missed defects, late rescans and delayed progress visibility.

Scan Analytics - Help teams monitor floor-wise scan coverage, spot gaps early and ensure no area is missed before defect detection begins.

Drilling into any floor’s donut opens a heatmap showing exactly which zones were well-covered, partially scanned or missed.

Even after defects were detected, managers had no way to measure how defect trends evolved over time. There was no clear view of which defects were lagging, how fast issues were resolved or whether closure rates were improving.



Track defect trends, spot bottlenecks and compare trade performance so site teams can take action early instead of firefighting late.

Though still in pre-rollout, Scan &amp; Defect Analytics quickly became one of the most requested features across pilot sites.

Three years ago, while doing my Masters in Delhi, I visited the Red Fort, a childhood dream. I hired a tour guide who rapidly recited dates, emperors and battles. His fast-paced delivery left me and the other visitors struggling to keep up.

Standing in those vast empty spaces, I thought: “Could design bring history alive beyond textbooks?”

&nbsp;According to Statista (2023), centrally protected monuments in India attract around 48 million domestic visitors and 1.45 million foreign visitors annually.
This huge audience highlighted the need and potential for a more engaging, immersive way to experience heritage sites.&nbsp;&nbsp;

This moment made me realize the vast potential hidden in historical spaces and inspired me to create:

Traditional methods of experiencing historical landmarks fail to provide engaging, immersive and informative experiences for visitors. This results in a disconnect in understanding and appreciating history. Additionally, the large amount of information available can make planning overwhelming, leading to confusion and fragmented visitor experience.

An end-to-end product focused on how judgment and constraints drive quality in AI-assisted workflows

 and assumed I was meeting my protein goals, until I tried tracking it. 

Most tools are built around Western diets, which makes everyday Indian meals difficult to log. 

What I initially thought was a personal issue showed up repeatedly across friends, family and colleagues.

The real problem wasn’t intention. It was visibility:

In rural Tamil Nadu, I know women who still saved money in small dabbas, steel containers hidden in their kitchens. These savings were fragile: often borrowed, sometimes stolen and never formally recorded.

Despite the rise of digital banking in cities, these women were excluded. With limited financial and digital literacy, they had little trust in banks and no access to user-friendly financial tools.

That’s when I asked myself: could design bridge the gap between dabbas and digital banking?

🔆Leveraging SHGs for Financial Inclusion

Here’s a breakdown of what the&nbsp;rural woman’s side&nbsp;of the device looks like:

While the Saheli system focuses on micro-savings and digital literacy, the concept of a rewards system can be integrated to further incentivize rural women, which would seamlessly integrate with Saheli’s existing structure:

2.&nbsp;Investment – Animators guide onboarding, deposits, and savings goal setup.

The ability to redeem tokens for groceries creates a closed-loop system that encourages repeat business from Saheli users. It encourages customer loyalty and strengthens the relationship between the women, local businesses and Saheli.

Consistent saving earns Saheli Tokens, which can be redeemed for essentials, a tangible incentive that motivates long-term use.

Saheli has not yet been deployed in the field, as the product and interaction model are currently 

 under the Ministry of Rural Development (MRD), India.
